Age and Treachery

It has been proven to me time and again that age and treachery will overcome youth and skill. However, today I learned that youth and treachery will not overcome age and skill. Mimi taught me that lesson by beating me by eight strokes in only nine holes of golf. And, Mimi did this despite the fact that she was dressed for the Arctic North. I, on the other hand, was dressed for summer golf in a light polo and shorts. Quite the snappy outfit from the hat down to the shoes. Unfortunately, it was about ten degrees too cold for my outfit. However, I cannot attribute my defeat to the cold. In the end, there is only one word to describe the beating that Mimi handed out ... Ouch!
